Passes for the interior of China by legation
The pass a legation gave a foreigner to travel beyond the treaty ports, numbered by China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Peiping Municipal Government's endorsement stamped the day after. For the expedition that leaves Shanghai or Peking for the provinces.
Bearer prints it for 3 offices: France, United Kingdom, United States. Each is read off a document of the time or reconstructed on the country's law, and says which.
