Eurasian Otter
Lutra lutra · Mammal
A shy swimmer of rivers, lakes and sea shores, mostly seen at dusk or at night, alone or as a mother with young. It is no threat to people. Its pelt was valued, and fishermen saw it as a rival, so much that Swiss authorities paid a bounty on each one.
