Red dragons lair high in mountains and among volcanoes, sleeping on hoards in caverns warmed by the earth's heat. They are the proudest and most greedy of dragons, burning villages for tribute or for spite and hunting from the air across whole valleys. Smoke on a peak that was quiet last year is enough to empty the farms below.
