Dog Roses
Plant · Common
The flowers are made into syrup, eaten in salads, candied or kept in vinegar, honey or brandy, and perfumers use them for their delicate notes. In Tunisia a flower water distilled from them, brought by Andalusians in the 17th century, scents pastries.
