Grey Wolf
Canis lupus · Mammal
Wolves live in packs of five to nine and travel mostly by night, roaming widely in winter and settling near a den while pups are raised. They prefer wild prey but now and then take livestock, which earns them the hatred of herders. Their fur was long worn for warmth.
