Jeremejevite

Real mineral · legendary · Al₆B₅O₁₅(F,OH)₃

First described in 1883 from a single Siberian locality. For nearly a century only a handful of specimens existed worldwide. The discovery of Namibian deposits provided more material, but facetable crystals remain extraordinarily rare. Its sky-blue colour rivals fine aquamarine at a fraction of the availability.
