Alchemy, jewelcrafting, essence extraction, equipment socketing: each discipline is a coherent ruleset, calculated and tracked in real time to leave no room for ambiguity at the table.
The alchemist extracts essences from Rerum Natura ingredients, brews potions with variable magnitude effects, and manages toxicity and preparation interactions. The jeweler cuts crystals from the Crystal Encyclopedia, prepares gems of varying quality, sockets them into player equipment, and strengthens their allies. Every action is tracked per character, per session, with a full inventory. A GM tool as much as a player tool, designed to make crafting a proper game mechanic, not a checkbox.
