Cattle

Cattle come from the wild cattle of north Africa, Europe and southern Asia and are now kept on every continent but Antarctica. A herd has a firm pecking order, and its bulls hold their place by fighting younger rivals. People take milk and meat, leather, soap, glue and medicines from them, yoke the oxen to plough and cart, and burn or spread the dung.
