Bottlenose Dolphin

Bottlenose dolphins live in warm and temperate seas, some in harbours, bays, lagoons and estuaries, others offshore in deeper water. Pods usually number about fifteen and can briefly swell past a thousand. They are seldom a danger, though a few dolphins have attacked swimmers and one in Brazil killed a man.
