Rerum Natura catalogues hundreds of things of the world from a homebrew ruleset designed by Michael Ghelfi: plants, minerals, creature parts, processed substances, captured natural phenomena. One thing often serves several purposes: alchemical ingredients detail their essences, materials say what they are for (food, leather, fibre, carving, perfume, remedies), and every entry gives its harvest conditions, origin environment, rarity, price, and lore that justifies every property.
Directly connected to the Crafting Table app, Rerum Natura is the database that gives meaning to every session reward. A poisonous mushroom harvested from a ghoul's corpse, a winter eladrin's tear captured in a special jar, a drop of azoth distilled over 48 hours: these are the ingredients that turn the table into a sensory and narrative experience.
