Crystal Encyclopedia

Hundreds of crystals. Unmatched narrative depth.

  • Worldbuilding
  • System-agnostic

The Crystal Encyclopedia holds 257 minerals and rocks, and every real one cites its sources. Lapis lazuli is among them, worked for thousands of years, then ground by Renaissance painters into ultramarine, a costly blue. Others come from our own vaults, like the soulstone, whose warm glow brightens near a dying creature. Each entry gives hardness, colours, where the stone grows, its rarity and its lore, and many add arcane properties. An ore leads to the Metal Encyclopedia, a stone ground for alchemy to Rerum Natura. When the right stone does not exist, the Forge grows one in 3D for you to name. Part of the Forge is free; any Patreon membership, even a free one, opens all of it.
