Jojoba Seed

Plant · Common

Pressed, the seeds give nearly half their weight in a liquid wax that does not go rancid, for skin, hair, candles and lamps. Parched, they are eaten or brewed like coffee, but only a little: the wax purges and the seed dulls hunger.
