Overland & Pacific Railroad
Overland & Pacific Railroad (Overland & Pacific) is a fictional steamship line of the Passage network, period-plausible, with 4 steamers on 2 routes.
Passage computes it for Call of Cthulhu and any 1920s or 1930s tabletop campaign: pick two places and a date, and print the ticket the purser's clerk would have written.
Historical model
Modelled on the Overland Route of the Chicago & North Western, the Union Pacific and the Southern Pacific, whose extra-fare San Francisco Overland Limited ran daily between Chicago and the Oakland pier by Omaha, Cheyenne, Ogden, Reno and Sacramento in 63 hours in 1927, and on the Southern Pacific's Sunset Limited from New Orleans to Los Angeles and San Francisco, 71 hours 40 minutes in 1926.
