Kaiyo Mail Steamship Company

Kaiyo Mail Steamship Company (Kaiyo Mail) is a fictional steamship line of the Passage network, period-plausible, with 4 steamers on 1 routes.

Passage computes it for Call of Cthulhu and any 1920s or 1930s tabletop campaign: pick two places and a date, and print the ticket the purser's clerk would have written.

Historical model

Modelled on the Bombay line of the Nippon Yusen Kaisha, the first long-distance service of a Japanese company, fortnightly from Bombay by Colombo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Kobe to Yokohama (in 1925 a steamer leaving Bombay on 24 January was due at Hong Kong on 10 February). Fares are shown in sterling, as the conference lines quoted them in India and the Straits.
