Siltgold

TTRPG Fictional · Uncommon · Timeless

Gold that has rested in stagnant swamp water for centuries absorbs the tannins, the decomposed organic matter, and the spiritual residue of the marsh. The result is chemically still gold, and it assays as pure, but it feels wrong. Heavier than it should be, duller than it should be, with a persistent smell of wet earth.
