Gromril armor is the pinnacle of Dwarf craftsmanship. Ancestor runes can be inscribed into gromril with a permanence impossible in lesser metals. Some ancient gromril pieces have been in continuous use for thousands of years, passed from master to apprentice with the weight of sacred obligation.
